About the hotel

Hotel Barborský dvůr is located in the historic center of Kutná Hory. It got its name from the temple of St. Barbory, which is less than 200 meters from the hotel. And the epithet “courtyard” was acquired by the builder and architect Jan Baptista Spinetti , who built a house on today’s land in 1697, by purchasing and connecting three courts, which at the time were the ruins of Gothic buildings.

With respect for tradition, extensive construction and reconstruction took place between 2018 and 2022, when the original parts of the house, i.e. the front side on Komenského náměstí and the building in Barborská Street, were very sensitively reconstructed, preserving all the original elements that decorated Jan’s house in the seventeenth  century Baptista Spinetti . The rest of the hotel was completed and connected to the historical building. In the newly added part, in addition to the hotel rooms, the restaurant Kozlovna Barborský dvůr found its refuge, which also serves hotel guests for refreshments.
